QUICK VISIT TO INDONESIA

“To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life.”

This is a quote I remember hearing from ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ a movie I’d recommend to all George James subscribers and is something I draw a lot of inspiration from.

On our recent journey through Indonesia, that quote came alive. In Raja Ampat, diving beneath the surface was like peeling back one of those ‘walls’. vibrant reefs, countless species, and that silence you only find underwater.

It was a reminder that beauty often means going beneath the surface, both literally and metaphorically.

Then in Bali, we chased waves and felt the raw energy of the ocean. “to see things dangerous to come to” leaning into the unknown of the ocean and embracing the thrill of each wave that I surfed.

Both experiences tie back to what George James is about, exploration and those unforgettable moments that shape us as people. I’m very grateful to have travelled through those areas and I hope to visit again. Here are a few pictures of what we got up to…
